User Agreement

These terms are a plain-language agreement for using Mafia.FYI (“the service”). By hosting or joining a table, you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the service.

The gist

Mafia.FYI is a free companion for playing the party game Mafia in person. It runs the night and day phases, secret roles, and voting so your table doesn't have to.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• harass, threaten, or impersonate other players;
• use the service for anything illegal;
• disrupt, overload, attack, or attempt to reverse-engineer the service;
• scrape or automate play in ways that degrade the experience for others.

Names & content

The only content you provide is a display name and your in-game actions. Keep names respectful — we may filter or remove names that are abusive or impersonating.

No accounts, no guaranteed uptime

Game rooms are ephemeral and may be reset, changed, or discontinued at any time without notice. We don't guarantee that a game in progress will survive a server restart.

“As is”

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mafia.FYI and its maintainers are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing law & changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. We may update them as the game evolves; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
